Bangkok: E-Scooter, Local Sights, and Street Food Tour

1. Bangkok: E-Scooter, Local Sights, and Street Food Tour

Receive a short demonstration on how to operate your electric scooter before starting the tour. Get a brief introduction to Bangkok and it's food culture as you ride to the first stop. First stop on the tour is a local Thai market, where you will try some local Thai fruits and get to see how local Thai people buy their food. From here explore the narrow alleyways of the Thonburi side of Bangkok before you cross over the Chao Phraya River via the memorial bridge to Chinatown. In Chinatown try some of the most famous street food in the city. Learn about the history of the Chinese community and how they influenced Thai food and culture. After this hop back on the scooter and ride around the back streets of Chinatown, before crossing over the river again, this time by local ferry.  Next up is the Tha Din Daeng Market. Sample some traditional Thai foods, before stopping at a local park. Discover Wat Prayoon, and feed the friendly turtles who live nearby. Finally, visit the area which is home to the Kudeejeen community where you'll try muffins from a local factory and learn how the Portuguese colonizers influenced Thai food.

This was such a fun and unique way to see Bangkok! The scooters were a lot of fun and we were able to see so many different parts of the city as well as try a few different yummy street foods! The groups are small and intimate (8 ppl max) and the tour guides were awesome - very knowledgeable and very helpful. They took pictures throughout the tour and emailed them to us right after. 10/10 would definitely do this again.

Very good tour in which you go to places where you normally would not just end up. The food during the tour is very varied and delicious. Our guide Jobe was very friendly and spoke good English. Because the tour is done with e-scooters, you get to see a much larger part of Bangkok than with a bike or walking tour. In short, highly recommended if you want to see some highlights and try some local food at the same time!

Jobe was amazing!! This is a great way to cover a lot of Bangkok and experience the local food. The meeting location is right off the MTR subway which makes it easy to get to. Highly recommend to anyone trying to get a taste of the culture and meet friendly local people!

The tour with Jobe was very varied and interesting. Jobe took his time, explained everything and tried to answer all questions in detail. An absolute highlight was a hidden café in China Town. The tour poses an absolute risk of repetition !! Thank you again !!!

Very fun way of discovering hidden places of Bangkok. I highly recommend the tour! Our guide Jobe was always smiling, made us feel safe, and shared interesting information on the Thai culture and Bangkok history.
