Wonderful tour to Skopje! Its a long drive in both directions, but the car was comfortable and there were ample stops to stretch your legs, get snacks, and use the WC! Skopje is such an unusual city. The tour guide was great, and had enough time to wander around and get some food before heading back. Would definitely recommend to travelers looking to explore another place with limited time.

The trip to North Macedonia was very interesting. It was a very long 4 hour drove from Sofia which should be taken into consideration, but it was worth it to learn about a new country and culture. Nick the driver was great. The guide in North Macedonia was also great even though he didn't usually run the English language tours.

We had the chance to be with two wonderful and absolutely fantastic guides : Vasco (Bulgarian) and Dan (Macedonian). Vasco's driving was very, very, very careful and chill, and the ride was nice. He had anecdotes about BG / MK, and was very nice and kind with all of us (he did 3 breaks on the road to make sure he was well afloat for the driving, which is nice). In Macedonia, Dan was probably the best guide I've ever met. He was extremely nice, and he was doing his absolute best to welcome us and teach us about Macedonia. He made me taste Boza, gave us tips on what to eat in Skopje, and I kept his contact information because he's just awesome and kind. Beyond that, Skopje was an unexpected surprise. I loved the city and the mix between oriental and slavic culture. This day trip remains among the best I've ever done so far.
