1. From Dubrovnik: Private Day Tour to Mostar

Start with pickup from your hotel in Dubrovnik and travel by luxury, air-conditioned vehicle to Mostar. Throughout the journey, learn about the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina from your experienced guide.  Cross the border and travel along a quiet stretch of road towards the village of Zavala. Stop to take some photos of the beautiful landscape of the region. Enjoy a short break in the village of Ravno at an old train station. Then, continue towards the small town of Stolac, largely destroyed during the war in the 1990s, which was shared between Bosniaks and Croatians.  Arrive in Mostar and embark on a 2-hour walking tour of the city. See the highlights of Mostar, including its famous Old Bridge. Discover mosques, cobbled streets, and bazaars. Enjoy some time for shopping at local craft shops. You can also enjoy some traditional cuisine at a local restaurant, at your own expense. Then, before returning to Dubrovnik, visit the nearby medieval town of Počitelj, where you will have a 30-minute break. From Počitelj, return to Dubrovnik by the same route you took earlier in the day, arriving back just after sunset.

From Dubrovnik: Mostar Coffee and Food Workshop

2. From Dubrovnik: Mostar Coffee and Food Workshop

Discover the cultural wonders of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina on a full-day trip from Dubrovnik. The journey begins with pickup from Dubrovnik and heads along the coast, passing by Mokošica, Trsteno, and Slano. Turn inland and travel through Zavala, Ravno, Ljubinje, and Stolac before arriving in the beautiful city of Mostar. Take a guided tour of the town center, learn about its rich history, and see important landmarks and monuments as well as hidden gems. After the walking tour, learn how to make a traditional bread known as Somun. Next, visit a cozy coffee shop and discover how to prepare Bosnian coffee. For those who aren't coffee lovers, there are plenty of tasty mountain teas and fresh juices to enjoy instead. After working up an appetite in the workshops, head to a local restaurant for a delicious mixed platter of traditional dishes. At around 4:30 PM begin the return journey back to Dubrovnik, stopping for a 30-minute break in the medieval town of Počitelj along the way. Here, stroll around the charming streets, try freshly-squeezed pomegranate juice, and even take a 15-minute hike up to the fortress. Back on the road, admire the views and watch as the Adriatic Sea and surrounding mountain landscape is transformed with the colors of the sunset.
