Interesting trip (Monastery, Pristina and Prizren) to see a lot of Kosovo in one day. first a beautiful orthodox monastery, then to Pristina. The capital is not necessarily beautiful, but interesting. Finally we went to the city of Prizren, which is beautiful with the old mosques, bridges and the little river, cafes and the mountains in the background. Felt very safe everywhere and border controls were surprisingly uncomplicated without a long wait (Sunday). Driver/guide was also very nice.

A day in Kosovo

As others have mentioned, this is a very quick insight into Kosovo. Our guide was good, however it is a long day with more time in the car than on the ground (particularly as we were caught in some awful traffic. It's not something I would do again - as I'd rather get a deeper appreciation of a country, but it's definitely something I'm glad I experienced.

Excellent excursion with a very competent guide

Excellent excursion with a good car (van) and a very good and competent guide. The route and the explanations gave an impression of Kosovo and the two cities visited as well as the monastery. The selected restaurant for lunch with typical Kosovar food was exactly what you imagine. Overall, one can only say. It doesn't get any better.
