  • Sinaia: Peleș Castle Tour with An Expert Guide

Walk through the impressive hallway on the ground floor where you can admire the enormous reception room and the four statues representing the four seasons. Next, see one of the biggest weapon collections Romania and Europe has ever seen, totalling more then 4000 pieces from all over the world. Move on to see the king's office followed by the Arabic and the Turkish rooms. As you explore the 1st floor, see the large number of rooms used by different members of the royal house, including the king's and queen's apartments. Most impressive amongst these rooms is the imperial apartment, specially decorated for the Austrian Emperor, who, somewhat ironically, never spent a night in the castle.   This is a truly magical place to visit and...

Traffic was awful. Guide was a bit impatient. I understand that 2 whole other people were waiting, however we were a group of 6 and left Braşov at 1015 to meet up by 1200. We were not informed of the parking fee and needing to have exact money or the attendants unwillingness to accept euro change only euro bills if we didn’t have Romanian money. Multiple jokes made at our expense and phone calls asking where we were despite knowing we had young kids.

What people are saying about Sinaia

Started at 07:30 from old town, and back by 18:30. Had a great english speaking guide, Christian, who have traveled alot too and knew history and other things good. Went to Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle), its 2h 40min ride. Then to Brasov for a short time and had lunch there. And finally ending with Peles Castle. The best thing was its not like other tours where you just have to go and follow, this you can go and do it in your own way, very flexible.

Everything was great... The guide pick us from our hotel. He was very kind and good at his work. Thank you for the experience
