An epic medieval fantasy, established by the Teutonic Knights during their first decades of existence. We’ll visit the city of Brasov, founded by the knights in 1211 on top of an old Dacian site. Dramatically overlooked by Mount Tampa, the city’s medieval core is a maze of narrow cobblestone streets, craft guilds, fortified towers, gatehouses and medieval decorated inns.

10. From Bucharest: Small-Group Dracula Day Tour

If you are looking for a day of adventure to cut yourself off from the stress of everyday life, we have put together for you a one-day tour of the Bran Castle, followed by several other important sites worthy of your attention. Here is an overview of our private tour, highlighting the main tourist attractions we will be visiting: 1. PELES CASTLE If have decided to write your memoirs or you want to brag about having seen the most beautiful castles in Europe, the Romanian royal family’s summer residence is, by far, one of the most important tourist attractions in Romania and in Europe, and you will soon understand why. Every year, thousands of important figures and hundreds of thousands of tourists book tours of Romania for this attraction alone, to admire its beauty and at least for a few hours, feel like royalty. 2. BRAN/ DRACULA’S CASTLE Step inside if you dare! We Romanians are often amused that 80% of the hundreds of thousands of tourists that book Tours of Romania and come from across the globe to see the Castle of Dracula, or more accurately, the Bran Castle, leave with their history lesson learned and forget about Bram Stoker’s fiction. Once you see it in person, you will understand why this castle is a symbol of Romanian tourism and why it is the most visited tourist attraction in Romania. 3. BRASOV CITY TOUR Are you looking for a different urban experience through which you can explore the history, and culture, and rediscover the beauty of nature, all at the same time? The city of Brasov is the ideal destination for lovers of history, music, culture, adventure, good food, winter sports, hunting, hiking, and even romance. It is the quintessential mountain adventure. We guarantee that the Brasov tour will be the high point of your trip –literally. Even though its average altitude is 625 meters, because its structure includes the Postavaru Peak, it is the highest city in Romania. Another thing that makes this tourist destination unique is that Brasov is the only city in the world that contains a natural reservation, the one on mount Tampa.

What people are saying about Sinaia

Super recomendo!

Ovi our guide was fantastic! The tour was a great way to see a different part of Romania from Bucharest. It was a lovely, small group. Great variety of sites. Great information from Ovi, and the perfect amount of time at each site. Fun day!

Great! Out tour guide, Eugene, was very educated, told us a lot about history of Romania while moving in a comfortable bus from Buchurest to Transylvania. Also, very helpful and gave us quite enough free time, too. Highly recommended!

Very nice trip, a lot of exiting emotions, perfect views, the guide is a perfect and clever guy! Definitely will recommend this to everyone!)

Pele's castle was really beautiful and Brasov too. Bran castle was nice from the outside but more like a bad haunted house on the inside.
