Full description

Have an out-of-this-world adventure while drysuit snorkeling in Silfra rift, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Thingvellir National Park. The hidden natural wonder has 100 meters of underwater visibility with bright colors that make the experience almost unrealistic.

Meet your guide and group directly at the site in Silfra and prepare to travel between two continents in the rift. Be guided through magnificent scenery and view Silfra from the surface while the slow current carries you through the stunning underwater landscape.

Stay dry underneath your drysuit or, for the more adventurous, choose the wetsuit to feel the natural cool waters.

Snorkel through the pure and clean waters of Silfra and end the tour in a lagoon often called "the real blue lagoon" because of the bright blue color of its water.

Incredible experience! Definitely do it. The whole process -welcome, getting kitted out, safety briefing, walking to the snorkelling site, the actual swim and the dekitting experience was all so slick and well organised. But somehow these incredible guides made us feel like we were the first group of people to see this underwater world. We felt very safe and looked after. Definitely recommend this. I haven't yet found the words to describe the world under the water so I'll leave that to you to find out for yourself.

Absolute highlight. After a good introduction and help getting dressed, it was a short walk to the "Entrance of the Column". We had blue sky sunshine and everything glowed in bright colors. The dry suit held up as promised, as previously stated, hands and head got wet. We felt differently. I wasn't cold, my son was. Then we were helped to undress and we got a warm chocolate.

Was a once a life time experience… Was not sure how cold it really gets. But it was not really cold. The only parts which i felt a bit cold were the lips and the forehead. Best tip of the guide was not swim fast and not to use your hands… So, they didnt got cold at all… as well not the feet with 2 pair of socks. We had Chico as the guide, he was great. Funny & experienced… We always felt comfortable and save. Just all the dressing procedure is a bit long and annoying. My tip for the water - just relax and enjoy, dont do much, just go with the flow…
