Words can't describe how great this tour is. Just the drive to the starting point on top of the mountain is enough for a spectacular tour. Once we got started I noticed right away that this is a really nice mountain bike. Shock absorbers even out the bumps and disk brakes provide some security as you head into the curves. I assumed since we started on a mountain top we would ride down hill and that would be it. Instead we continued on through the valley and up and down several more peaks. That's when I came to appreciate the electric assist. I'm in pretty good shape but the e-bike allowed us to cover so much more ground. We stopped for the best views and magically the support van would appear behind us with water snacks and extra gloves and scarves if needed or we could unload some of our gear as the day warmed up. Our guides, Jose and Maria, truly thought of everything, including a short video to help us remember the experience.
This was a brilliant way to explore the mountain region around Granada and the food and wine were delightful! Our guide (Angela) was great fun and very informative moving with ease from Spanish to English. The bus was very comfortable and there were lovely people on the tour. The pick up arrangement was carefully organised as well. In all, a marvellous day!
Amazing! Such a fun way to explore Sierra Nevada. Well organised and friendly tour guides. Bikes and other equipment all in great condition. Yes you need a certain level of fitness but the e-bike will help a lot more than if you were cycling by yourself. The scenery is just incredible. A highlight of the stay in Granada.
Angela our guide was knowledgeable and very professional. She has excellent English and her explanations throughout the tour were detailed and informative. We also had an excellent driver Manuel . The tour is a nice break from Granada and chance to see the the white washed historical mountain villages.
We were picked up at a convenient location and transferred to a mini-van with 6 others. Our guide was amazing. He had to speak French, Spanish & English. He explained historical facts relating to the tour and it was really interesting.
