Full description
The Educational Wine Tour & Tasting  “Vine, Wine and Life” starts with a visit to organic vineyards where you'll go through all the main steps of the agronomic, phenolic and organic cycle, in order to understand the complexity of the “vineyard” ecosystem and of an agriculture with low environmental impact. In the historical cellar, you'll discover the chemical-physical and microbiological processes that make a quality production. You will taste the wines in a sensorial tasting room to grasp the organoleptic complexity and have a better understanding of them. The visit will end up with a light-lunch to experience the emotions the right combination of food/wine can offer your palate and spirit. All the different chapters will be discussed directly in the vineyards, cellar and tasting room in a very simple way, in order to easily understand even the most apparently complicated concepts.
Includes
  • Guided visit to the organic vineyards
  • Guided visit to the cellars where the wines are produced and developed
  • Sensory wine tasting of 4 of our organic wines, all typical of the area
  • Light lunch with fresh seasonal Tuscan spezialities
    COVID-19 precautions
    Safety measures in place
    • All required protective equipment is provided
    • All areas that customers touch are frequently cleaned
    • The number of visitors is limited to reduce crowds

    Fun and Beautiful

This was a great time! The tour and tour guide was great and very informative. The wine tasting was so much fun and was delicious. The light lunch was tasty. The size of the group (12) people was perfect. Views from the vineyard were breathtaking. Would definitely do again if we come back to Siena. Siena itself is beautiful and not super crowded.

    Super Siena Send Off!

This was the perfect way for us to enjoy our last day in Siena before moving on to Rome. We hadn’t read one negative review when booking and now we understand why! The courtyard, vineyard, cellar and wine tasting room are all absolutely stunning and have the same care and attention to detail as Renato puts into his wine. It was fabulous learning about the growing and producing processes, particularly the strict regulations that Chianti has, as well as, organic farming! The ‘light’ lunch was certainly more than we expected and delicious. We loved it so much, we bought 3 bottles and enjoyed the bottle of white when we arrived to Rome! We got a taxi from Siena centre which cost around €16 so it is very reasonable. Had we have known they have an agriturismo to stay at, we’d have jumped at the chance to stay on site! Grazie Mille!

Great wines and great tour. Worth every penny.

A great tour, the guide is also the owner of the winery. The tour was fun, very informative and educational. The winery itself is very beautiful and pastoral. They served a light lunch with the wine and it complemented the wines extremely well. Overall we had a great time and it was worth the money.
