It was a bit confusing to find the ticket office for our vouchers. The office was to the left of the cathedral rather than the directions provided. Once we had our tickets we could not get cell service to download the guild so that was a waste. The cathedral, crypt and other buildings were beautiful. We were glad we did this tour.

We caught the train from Florence, then took a taxi from the station to the centre. The visit to the crypt and baptistry were interesting but the cathedral was obviously the highlight. Be prepared for quite a stiff climb up the narrow winding staircases to the two viewing bridges. You are rushed along very rudely by the attendant but fabulous views make it worth it. If possible, spend more than one day here as there is so much to see here away from the crowds.

The lines are long to get in and it is a fabulous Cathedral, well worth your time. However the exact place to go to exchange your voucher is confusing and there is no one there to tell you which of the two ticket offices you need to go to. Even with this voucher you may be in some kind of line, just not as bad as if you didn't have it. If you get your ticket on site you can add on a few options not offered with the on line voucher.
