Other than enjoying a delicious typical dinner of local products and dishes, you will be surrounded by the splendid and charming landscape of vineyard rows, which beautifully characterizes the Chianti region. The dishes that you will taste, all made of fresh local products, are the fruit of the hard work and care for the land that local producers have been exercising for centuries.  Upon your arrival you will be given a glass for you to carry with you on the visit of the farm’s wineries and thus enjoy a number of wine tastings on this small-scaled wine route. You will then visit the estate’s historic chapel before finally heading for dinner, the evening’s main event.  The dinner location is set to offer you maximum quality and cosiness, decorated with candles and torches. The gentle sounds of the earth and the vineyards will accompany your dinner under the stars, and a harmonious musical background, which will perfectly match the succession of dishes. You will taste pappa al pomodoro or ribollita (both typical recipes from the people’s folklore) and a barbecue of meat and fresh seasonal vegetables of the farm. Let yourself get carried away by the warmth and fragrances of the barbecue and the perfumes of the grapevines, which will enhance your dinner experience. The first stop on your full-day tour of Chianti will be at the walls of Castello di Brolio, where you’ll get an up-close look at the picturesque vineyards. It was here that Baron Bettino Ricasoli introduced the world to Chianti red wines, known around the world for their distinctive taste and easy drinkability, and for the straw flasks, which at one time covered the bottles. Next stop on the tour is Castle of Brolio as well as the hilltop town of Radda in Chianti. While visiting the castle and its grounds, you’ll learn about its origins and history, and then enjoy a tasting of it's wine. Enjoy lunch here, it will consist of local, traditional Tuscan specialties.  In the afternoon it will be time to visit to a third winery. Meet the local producer and tour the estate that has been in the hands of the same family for many centuries. Visit the old cellars and learn about the traditions of the Chianti folk, while savoring and learning about great Chianti wines. The estate’s wines are made from Merlot, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Bianco grapes. You’ll sample 4 different wines, including 1 white wine, 2 red wines, and a special dessert wine, all of which are in limited production and only available at the villa.

Meet your friendly local farmer, Roberto and begin your unique bucolic experience. Enter in Roberto’s farmhouse, full of that nice Cinta Senese porks: he knows his animals one by one, they are fed with Tuscan cereals and DOP food and they are reared in the semi free-range. Start your experience strolling along vineyards and olive groves, learning all about organic agriculture. During the path, you will meet Ciro, the domestic pig, and its Cinta-Senese-piglets company: look at them having fun in the mud, or capture the moment with your camera. We had a really great time and the wineries were much better than we expected. Radda is a charming town and it was a treat to be able to have some time there to wander.
