Truly Informative Guided 4 Day Tour Angkor Wat & Siem Reap Recommend

We had taken a lot of time to research our trip to Angkor Wat and Siem Reap. Important to us was, Deep knowledge by a guide that would be with us. A suggested program over days, clear inclusions and exclusions. Transport via a comfortable, safe air-condition transport not a Tuk Tuk. Flexibility in the tour during the days if weather or circumstances of location or personal change. Tour company to include Transport and Guide as one package. Tours over 3 or 4 days offering. Cost competitive. After much comparison of Tuk Tuk drivers, established international brands offering tours, local tours and recommendations from friends we settled on "Get Your Guide".. Why? Great Tour Guide "Sar" and the only one 4 days for the same price as some of the 3 days. The itinerary was detailed and included a full description of the Tours. The 3-day pass was ideal, picked up the late afternoon and used for the sunset, perfect in this instance. We would suggest 4 days if time permits..

From the very start of the morning, 4:45am, we had an amazing journey. Our small group of 4 people was perfect. Travelling in a jeep was awesome as we were able to travel through the jungle to reach temples and gates that would have been tricky in a minibus. The openness of the jeep added to the excitement of the journey. We had both an appetising breakfast and lunch at local restaurants and an awesome morning tea of fresh fruits and coconut juice in the jungle. We also had unlimited supply of bottled water which was very much needed! Our guide, Rit, was very knowledgeable and paced our day perfectly. He was courteous and actively suggested great photo shots. He knew his stuff. I highly recommend this tour. Although it was a lot of walking and trekking over the sites, we are really happy to have done it and are still talking about how awesome the whole day was, even though our joints are still paining!!!!!!!

Profession service from both the tour guide and driver. Sa, the tour guide is very patient and gives a lot of information about the temples we visited. Kriss, the driver, is a good driver and cheerful person. Both speaks good English. As a whole, I find the experience very enjoyable. The pace of the tour is good. In 3 days I was able to visit many temples, including the smaller ones which are not usually in the 1 day tour itineraries. The personal guide means I am able to ask as many questions as I wanted. The tour also included a visit to Kampong Phluk Floating Village. It was a wonderful experience taking the boat ride and having a chance to walk around in the village during the dry season.

This guided trip with Chris and Mr Sitha was fantastic! Chris offered us wet napkins and cold water at each stop. We enjoyed the conversations we had with him. Mr Sitha is a very knowledgeable guide. The trip was well thought out. We saw 20 temples around Angkor area in three days. At each temple the guide spoke about the history, spiritual meaning, and interesting stories about the place, pointed out details, we otherwise would have missed, and showed best spots for photos. Chris and Mr Sitha also knew the best lunch places in each neighborhood. Both, Chris and mr Sitha, made sure we are comfortable and happy at all times. Kind and genuinely nice people. Thank you!

An unforgettable experience! We enjoyed the opportunity to visit an authentic floating village that is struggling due to lack of fish stocks. The various boat rides were a genuine adventure! If you are nervous about being on the water, you might not enjoy this experience, but we did! Tip: bring some small dollars to donate to the English school and to buy school supplies to give to the children (optional, of course). A dollar gratuity for the various people maneuvering the boats not expected, but genuinely appreciated.
