This half-day boat tour of the Floating Village is the perfect option for those who don't have the time to explore Prek Toal or Kompong Phluk during their stay in Siem Reap. Your boat tour begins at your hotel or guesthouse, where a knowledgeable tour guide will pick you up and accompany you to the port near Phnom Krom in an air-conditioned vehicle. Let your friendly English and Khmer-speaking guides point out areas of local interest along the way and answer any questions you may have. En route to the main boat, make a couple of stops. First, as you pass the rice paddies and lotus fields, stop and take some photos of the lotus flowers, a deeply important flower in Buddhism (please note: depending on the time of year, the views of the lotus and rice fields will vary).
