Full description
Between 4:20 AM and 5:00 AM, your local tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and continue to the Angkor Wat Temple Complex. Here, you will purchase your temple pass and enter with your guide to witness a truly magical experience. Watch the sunrise over Cambodia’s most ancient and most respected monument – Angkor Wat.  Angkor Wat was built around the first half of the 12th century by King Suryavarman II. The temple's balance, composition and beauty make it one of the finest monuments in the world. The shear size of this monument makes it very overwhelming as it towers over the landscape. The morning is then filled with visiting and enriching yourself with a number of temples within the ancient grounds. Starting with the Angkor Thom complex, your first stop will be Bayon. Built in the latter part of the 12th Century by King Jayavarman VII, Bayon is one of the most widely recognized temples in the Angkor Park because of the giant stone faces that adorn the towers of Bayon. There are 54 towers of faces with 4 faces on each tower, Bayon consists of 216 faces, a sight not to be missed. The next stop is Ta Prohm, a jungle clad temple that offers a strange beauty as the stone works intertwine with jungle vines. For many this temple will be well known as it was featured in Angelina Jolie’s Tomb Raider. At 12:00 PM, your tour comes to an end and your guide will transfer you back to your hotel.

Good timings to ensure you get good photos. It's an action packed morning with lots to see and do. Worth the time. Would recommend. Our guides name is Phylom. He is the best guide we have ever had. Really gets involved with explanations and full of energy. He helps with taking photos too.

The guide was a little too laid back in my opinion- it is good that he didn't rush us through the various spots but at the same time there was a lot of waiting for him to get us to the next point or tell us about the places. There was already light out when we reached Angkor Wat complex. Although we got to see the sun emerging from behind the temple towers, I had expected to get there while it was still dark and see the break of the dawn.

Nice

For one day /first day visit a guide is highly recommended. Mr Touch was really prepared, adviced nice spots for sunrise and later during the tour also. If you are more into relagious strories he is your guide. We followed the relagious topic, historical and technical infornation was asnwered if you asked. He is prompt and scheduled the tour well, many bottles of water were provided Lunch was in a nice place, in a fancy restaurant but bit expensive. Next day local kitchen next door was half price, if you dont mind eating different food than you ordered it is a good place. Other temples were famous ones, which are reasonable to visit. Of course, many tourist check them, so sometimes crowded( Bayon, Ta Prohm), many people see the whole tour through a 5" screen With Little less selfies and group photos would I feel comfortable.
