First of all, you have to say that this tour is worth it for the landscape alone. My personal highlight was the Salda Lake, unfortunately you only spend an hour there and that's enough for a few photos and maybe a short swim. Pamukkale has unfortunately largely dried up, but a small section is still accessible. The bus you drive is no longer the newest and is actually overtaken by every other car on the expressway. The guide always tried to pass on some interesting information about the country and its people. Unfortunately, the tour has nothing to offer from a culinary point of view, it is only held in canteens that live from such tours, for lunch you are seated in a large hall with the guests of other tour operators and you can then pay 7 € for the meal. The evening meal is included in the tour but I cannot recommend it to anyone. So if you want to do the tour, you can have your hotel catering for you.

An exhausting but really worthwhile trip

Since Pamukkale is very far away from Side you should be aware that it starts early and you are back in the hotel late at night. Immediately after booking, the agency Seven Tours announced the pick-up time, very nice contact. Pickup took place right on time at the hotel. There was a swimming break at Salda Lake. The buffet lunch was available for 7 euros. Arrival in Pamukkale around 1 p.m. Entry is 60TRY. In contrast to otherwise no EUR will be accepted. Stay in Pamukkale approx. 3.5 hours. Despite the many tourists, it is absolutely worth seeing and the crowds are well distributed over the extensive grounds. The procedure was as described, unless the hot springs of Karahayit were not visited (probably would not have timed). On a positive note, there should be no sales event on this trip. A perfect day. For the next day, however, you shouldn't plan so much and rather spend a quiet day on the beach.
