I took this tour with my sister and college age nieces and all of us really enjoyed it. We were paired up with a couple other people (it was nice to get to know them too). We were glad it was a small group where we felt comfortable asking questions. We also really liked how casual it was, the time of day (before the bars/restaurants got too busy) and the close proximity between the three restaurants we went to. It was fun to try some different appetizers that we maybe wouldn't have otherwise tried (the food was really good). We loved the area by the water. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the history of the area and made it fun! We definitely would recommend this tour!

The tour was both interesting and fun. We covered a broad range of sites and attractions, with content that appealed to everyone in our group. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, clearly well informed, and had alot of insightful information and interesting tidbits to share about Charleston, both past and present. We asked a ton of questions, and he took the time to answer them all in an entertaining and thoughtful way. Our guide was also very accommodating of our group, adjusting pace as required, lingering longer in spots for photo ops, etc. Would not hesitate to recommend this "off the beaten path" tour of Charleston!

Captain Bryan was knowledgeable of his city. Great personality! Went out of his way to make the tour enjoyable. The restaurants chosen were great choices and even returned to one for dinner the next evening. Highly recommended!

A fun and different tour. Captain Bryan was fun and very knowledgeable about the Shem Creek area. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone

Teddy was a great tour guide. It was only my husband and myself so it was like a private tour.
