What a great evening. Between jet lag and all day sightseeing, it can be a little hard to stay motivated for evening tours. Jim made us completely forget about our tiredness as we were completely absorbed in his descriptions and stories of local neighborhood food, culture, and history. The amount of food and portions were great for us, so we didn’t feel guilty for not eating all that was presented, and we didn’t leave feeling hungry. Everything was so tasty and fresh. Highly recommended!!!!

We had an amazing tour with our guide Jim! He picked us up on time and showed us many different small restaurants and places were we get the chance to taste dumplings, noodles, bbq, tea,... The food was excellent and Jim told us a lot about the Chinese culture, people and mentality. We really recommend doing this tour!

Did the 3 hour Shanghai food tour and it wasn't what I expected - it was more. From local crafted beers to a small out of the way noodle house and finished with amazing dumplings. Helped that the guide was very knowledgeable and approachable and his ability to converse in English with the others on the tour certainly helped enhance the experience. T cap off the experience he even ordered a ride back to our ship when we were pushed for time
