Seville Cathedral, built in the 15th century on the site of a 12th-century mosque, is one of the largest and most impressive churches in the world. On this 1-hour guided tour you’ll marvel at its spectacular golden altarpiece and the vast collection of art. The crowning piece of the Seville Cathedral complex is the famous Giralda Bell Tower. The tower, reaching a height of 322 feet, was built as a minaret at the end of the 12th century. Learn about the origins of the complex as an Arabic mosque, and see further evidence in the ablutions courtyard. Explore the collection of important works of arts representing several centuries, decorating the Cathedral’s 44 chapels and the middle of the central nave. At the end of the tour, say goodbye to your guide then climb to the top of Giralda Tower to soak up magnificent city views.

      Great guide

Jesùs is a fantastic guide. I am not happy though with the organization as we had to catch up with the English group after they had already gone off due to a misunderstanding. That incident was very badly handled and we had to argue to be able to join the English group. Jesùs reacted very professionally once we eventually were led to his group: after the official end of the group tour he gave us a private tour of the 3 sights which we had missed at the beginning.

Very interesting tour of a fascinating cathedral/tower

The cathedral and tower were highlights of my trip to Seville. I had no idea this was the third largest church in the world. Having visited #1 and #2 it was nice to see this additional historical monument to architecture and religion. Our tour guide was awesome too. High recommended.

      Knowledgeable and accommodating guide

The guide was excellent - very knowledgeable and switched back and forth between Spanish and English very well to accommodate all in the group. The only suggestion I have to improve the experience would be to provide a bit more guidance on where to meet and what signs to look for to assist with finding the tour guide at the start of the tour.
