We had a wonderful day out with Carlos on Monday. A long day, visiting Ronda and the White Villages. The scenery was outstanding and Carlos was a thorough gentleman, looking after us like we were his closest family! Nothing was too much trouble for him and he must have been exhausted after all the driving he did! Especially impressed at how he natigated the "micro tiny" streets in the old towns! He is so knowledgeable and eager to share the culture and history of the area with his guests. We found his accent a little hard to follow but he spoke slowly and we were able to understand then. He was totally patient with us when we had to ask him to repeat things. We had a private tour and it was well worth the extra to have the choice of how much time to spend at each location. I'm sure we packed a lot more into our day because of that. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the fabulous countryside outside of Seville. A real eye opener!
We were a very small group (only 4 people) and we could not have written a better day with our guide Federico. We started before dawn and visited a bird observatory to watch the sun rise, then drove through Doñana national park which was extremely peaceful and beautiful. After a small breakfast in El Rocio, we visited Palacio del Acebrón, then headed to the beach at Matalascañas where we visited the dunes and spent a lazy afternoon watching the waves. At every step, Federico was helpful, informative and courteous and our day was made 100% better with him. Highly recommended as a day trip to escape the city center.
Our tour was great. Both our guide, Guido, and driver, Joachim (from company Abuela) were kind and professional. They picked us up very near our apartment. We spent the morning touring a castle ruin, two white villages, and an olive oil factory. We had lunch at one village. In the afternoon, we drove across the National Park and visited Ronda. Guido was knowledgeable about the tour locations as well as southern Spanish culture. He also gave us recommendations for Seville. Overall it was a great day.
We had an amazing day with Miguel. We opted for a private tour and really enjoyed ourselves in Ronda and Zahar. Miguel was an excellent guide and this was one of the highlights of our trip to Spain. I can't comment on the bus tours but seeing Ronda and Zahar is a definite must if you are in the area. The tour company and Get Your Guide was seamless and professional.
Reyes (sorry if spelt incorrectly) met us promptly on time at our apartment, and she adjusted our tour when we told her we were visiting the Cathedral/Alcazar later that day. She was also very happy to take photos of our group, which was greatly appreciated. She was knowledgeable and friendly, and walked at a great pace for our group.
