Full description
Meet your guide at your hotel or another meeting point in central Seville and hop inside your air-conditioned coach for your day trip. Admire the Spanish countryside as you travel to nearby Jerez de la Frontera, famous for its horses and sherry. After roughly an hour, arrive in palm-filled Jerez to visit one of its historical sherry bodegas. Meet your winemaker host and learn what makes the local sherry special as you tour the grounds. See wooden casks in the cellars and taste a delectable selection of sweet and dry varieties in the unique atmosphere of a “Bodega”. Your next experience will commence at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art Foundation with the exhibition regarded as the best equestrian ballet in the world:  “How the Andalusian Horses Dance”. An authentic equestrian ballet with choreographies based on the Traditional and Cowboy Methods of Taming Wild Horses, and genuine Spanish music and XVIII century customers.. Your adventure continues on the Costa de la Luz. Once in Cadiz our local guide will take you to the city center beside the Cathedral where you will have free time to have lunch and discover the oldest European city with more than three millenniums of history. Visit the medieval center and rooftop views from the ‘camera obscura’ (dark room) at the Tower Tavira, climb the viewpoint of a real tower, highest point of the city, from where you can see the whole city and the bay of Cadiz.

The vehicle for the private tour for two people was an uncomfortable shuttlebus - not a 10 person van, not a minivan, not a car, but a 20 + seat shuttlebus. Our guide/driver was extremely nice and tried his best to make the tour work but, his phone would not accept our text messages or phone calls, which he mentioned has been a problem in the past with the clients not being able to contact guides. Of all the tours I have set up, this rates at the bottom. For the price we paid, we should have had a comfortable vehicle and a knowledgable guide. We were to be picked up at our cruise ship at 8am according to “Get Your Guide” but the tour company gave us a different time and location.
