  • Navigate Cordoba's narrow streets to find historic treasures

Full description
Venture into the heart of Andalucia and you will discover an ancient city bursting with intellectual wealth, vibrant history, and architectural triumphs. On this day trip to Córdoba you will have the opportunity to peel back the layers of time and understand the diversity of cultures, which have come to define this unique and remarkable place. No introduction to the city would be complete without a visit to the world famous Mezquita where you can lose yourself amongst the sea of red and white striped arches of the Hypostyle Hall. With 856 columns of jasper, onyx, marble, and granite, this former mosque-turned-cathedral is regarded as one of the most accomplished monuments of Renaissance and Moorish architecture. Other highlights of the day will include a visit to the fortress of Christian Kings, the Jewish Synagogue, and a stroll along the Calle de las Flores. Few cities in the world can claim to have been the capital of a Roman province, an Arab state, and a Caliphate, but it is this heritage that has elevated Córdoba to its status as a World Heritage Site. In addition to its strong historical foundations, the city’s arts, music, and leisure scene helps to cross the boundaries into contemporary Spanish culture.

Cordoba is beautiful

The disastrous guide. I do not explain anything. I did not understand the language. I don't respect times. It was lost. Disaster. We liked the tour because we liked the place and the guide we had to explain the city. The other guide ... I'm late for the meeting. I didn't know who to look for. Disaster.

Great experience

Pepe was indeed a very professional guide that helped us understanding the vegetation , the industries , the famous people in Seville on our drive to Córdoba . It was also very interesting to meet Anna who very passionate about showing us the Mosque . I would recommend this guide experience .

Running visit, difficult to photograph, tiring!

Frenzied pace, the guide speaks at full speed, makes us run, no time to take pictures! However, too much free time, probably to do a maximum of shopping ... it could be cooler in every way , even if you don't go into details and leave less free time for shopping;
