The cooking school is located in the Triana Market, the perfect place to buy fresh local ingredients. Before the workshop starts, you’ll be taken on a guided visit of the market and hear a short explanation of its history and products. Sangria will be served to the group and you’ll have the opportunity to get to know each other while you’re cooking. During the meal that follows the class you’ll be served 2 additional drinks (beer or wine). This hands-on Andalusian cooking class will include the preparation of 4 traditional tapas, followed at the end by a local dessert wine.  Classes are taught by a professionally trained chef in English. The ingredients used are fresh and seasonal since the school is located inside the Triana food market. During the class, guests have the chance to get involved in the preparation of the dishes, guided by the expert cook. Classes are designed for both novice and experienced cooks that will be able to learn and develop new techniques and skills. The menu you cook will consist of 4 tapas from the following list, depending on the season: • Salmorejo or Gazpacho • Spanish omelet   • Spinach on garlic toast • Huevos a la Flamenca • Iberian pork cheeks stew • Codfish in batter or codfish croquettes • Shrimps in garlic oil All ingredients or utensils are provided by the school. Sangria and table olives are served during class, and at the end, guests eat what has been cooked, accompanied by up to two drinks (Spanish wine, beer or soft drinks) and a final dessert wine. All of the recipes used can be adapted to any dietary restriction. Please advise in advance if a change to the menu is required. Once back home, you will be able to practice what you have learned as you will be given written recipes and lots of tips.

This was a great experience! I would high recommend doing it your first day in Seville as they will recommend place to eat and also the food you make creates a benchmark for everything else. Laura’s English was great and we had a wonderful time cooking and talking to other tourists visiting the city. The 4 dishes we made were wonderful and we even get the recipes to take home! Highly recommend the experience to others to experience Spanish cooking and dishes.

Our family had a wonderful time at the paella cooking show. Antionio was a fun and educational host. He thoroughly explained his methods and answered all of our questions. The venue and views were beautiful and the meal was amazing. We would highly recommend this experience and cannot wait to recreate this memory feom Seville at home!
