Full description

Discover the highlights of Sedona and its surrounding area on an open-air sightseeing bus tour. Learn more about the area with your local guide, on topics such as natural history, indigenous peoples, energy vortexes, geology, and even a world-famous spiritual stop.

Set off on your journey to the first stop of the tour at the Sedona Airport Scenic Overlook. Located about the center of western Sedona, stop to admire spectacular views of rock formations like Thunder Mountain, Coffee Pot Rock, Cockscomb, Chimney Rock, Sugarloaf, and Mingus Mountain. Continue towards Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park. Wander through the stunning landscape of red rocks surrounded by pinion and juniper pines. Take in the tranquil atmosphere of this spiritual refuge that attracts spiritual seekers of all faiths.

Take a short walk through winding trails leading up to the stupa, believed to represent the Mind of Enlightenment bestowing blessings upon all believers. Stroll around the stupa and spin the prayer wheels or offer your own prayers to the heavens. Head next to the Boynton Canyon Vortex, the site of a balance between masculine and feminine energy. The vortex is located between a rock formation named Kachina Woman and another knoll which is thought to contain masculine energy. After some time to recharge travel back to the starting point.

Guide was informative, friendly and had excellent presentation skills. Three stops included 20 Minutes to walk around. Of the 3, only two really warranted that time. Overall worth the time and money and learned interesting facts about the area and sights.

Our guide was knowledgeable of the area and took us to the best spots for taking pictures. He was also funny and respectful of everyone. He engaged everyone in conversations and answered questions. Of course most important - a safe driver. Had a great time. I highly recommend this tour.

Best way to see Sedona! Avery, our guide, knew the layout and history of the area. It’s a relatively laid back tour ( you can walk an much or as little as you want) and yet get to see the highlights of the city! I would recommend this tour to anybody visiting Sedona!
