Then, visit the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, renamed Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden, and the highlight of any visit to the north. It is the oldest botanical garden in the southern hemisphere, dating back to 1735. Admire a magnificent collection of local and exotic plants, a variety of giant water lilies, rare plants from Mascarene, the baobab, giant palms, and the Talipot palm, whose flower only blossoms after 50 years.

We got to swim with dolphins which was amazing and then our guide took us to see all of the best attractions in the south and south west of the island. The guide was so informative and absolutely lovely!!

We spent the day with Raj. He explained us the main sights and gave us ample time to explore and enjoy the places. This tour gave us a good overview of the most famous sights of the island.
