Your adventurous Catamaran trip to Ile Aux Cerf begins with a hotel pick-up at your accommodation anywhere in Mauritius. You will meet and be greeted by our certified guide and after boarding to your comfortable vehicle, then set off to Trou D'eau Douce. Arriving at there at 09.15 A.M, you will board to your Catamaran to enjoy this memorable catamaran cruise from Trou D'eau Douce to Ile Aux Cerfs. The catamaran cruise starts at 09:30 a.m., departing from Trou D’eau Douce on the East coast of Mauritius. The crew members will ensure that you have an enjoyable time, and they will be happy to tell you about local tales, jokes, and to play local Mauritian music which will lift the spirits of all on board. You will start your trip with a visit to the waterfall at Grand River South East before setting sail for the island of Ile Aux Cerfs. Then, when reaching the Grand River, you will go by speed boat to visit the waterfalls which are found about 500m upstream. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to see the curious monkeys jumping through the big old trees on the river banks. Watch the Mauritian fruit bats resting perched on the highest trees as you approach the waterfall. Following the visit to the waterfall, you will head back to the catamaran. The catamaran will then sail inside the crystal-clear water of the lagoon until stopping for a snorkeling & swimming break, where breathtaking coral reefs & tropical fish are on prominent display. After snorkeling you will enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch set on the beach or on the catamaran. We served a 3-Course menu onboard. You’ll also be treated to a selection of local drinks, including soft drinks, Juice, water, beer, wine & local rum. Then, you will be heading to Ile aux Cerfs Island which is a beautiful island near the east coast of Mauritius. This amazing island is the perfect setting for a relaxing day of sun worship. As you approach the island by the catamaran, you will see the swaying palm trees and the pure white beaches framed by the vivid turquoise waters. At Ile aux Cerf, there are a variety of invigorating activities are awaiting you such as parasailing, tube riding, and undersea walk (Optional). After doing your activities, you can take a stroll and absorb the pristine natural environment, sit back and relax on the white sandy beaches. At Ile aux Cerfs Island you are sure to have some relaxation and fun on one of the picture-postcard beaches or enjoy a swim in the azure sea. With its luminous flora and fauna, uninhibited wind and sun, and myriad facilities to cater to your whims, Ile Aux Cerfs is the perfect getaway for anyone seeking an uncommonly comfortable escape. After the visit to Ile aux Cerfs, you will enjoy the beautiful sail back to Trou D’Eau Douce. You are expected to arrive back to Trou D’Eau Douce at 16:00 P.M. After the hotel pickup, you will be visiting the town of Curepipe and Floreal. You will visit the crater of Trou aux Cerfs and the Indu temple of Grand Bassin. Here you will have the chance to learn about the Indu culture and traditions and how they persist in modern Mauritius society. From here, you will then drive to Black River, where you will be able to admire fantastic landscapes and views of the mountains. Finally you will be travelling to Chamarel, where you will visit the Waterfalls, the park of Seven coloured Earths, and pay a visit to the Giant turtles in the park. From here you will be driving back to your hotel, where you will be dropped off. During the day tour, you will be stopped at our local Mauritian restaurant to discover our Mauritian dishes which is included in this package.

The iconic stops include: -Trou aux Cerfs, an extinct crater overlooking the town of Curepipe and offering a panoramic view of -Floreal -Curepipe: Second largest city of the island centrally situated in Mauritius also known as "La Ville Lumière" ("The Town of Light") since it was the first town in the island to run on electricity. Curepipe translated means 'cleaning the pipe". Only a few minutes away from Curepipe, Floreal Square is a beautiful place to go for shopping. for duty free jewellery, Floreal Square for textile, Voilier de L’Océan for ship models and local souvenir shops... -Grand Bassin: A lake situated in a mountain area, deep in the lush area of Mauritius. It is the most sacred Hindu place on the island where many pilgrims walk from their homes to collect its water to offer to Lord Shiva for the Maha Shivaratri celebration. -Alexandra Falls: Alexandra Falls is indeed one of the most emblematic and popular sites of the island. Famous not only for its breathtaking beauty, Alexandra Falls also offers visitors the chance to live a unique experience with nature. -Black River Gorges: A 6,500 hectare park proclaimed natural reserve in 1994 and is the largest national park in Mauritius. From Plaine Champagne on the central plateau there is a breathtaking view of the Black River Gorges where we protect much of the remaining indigenous forests of Mauritius. -Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth: Created by volcanic rocks that cooled at different temperatures offering hillsides of patterns of colour.
