Full description
Jajce represents the capital of the Bosnian Kingdom during the 14th century. It has important historical significance and is also one of the most visited tourist destinations. You'll find a famous waterfall where the Pliva River meets the Vrbas River presenting a unique beauty of wild, untamed nature. Visit the Royal Fortress, the Mlincici Complex, Pliva Springs and the Katakombe Museum will take your breath away and make you fall in love with this unique cultural complex. On the road to Jajce, there is a second, small town named Travnik which is also representative of Bosnian culture and lifestyle of local people during the Ottoman period. It is worth mentioning that Travnik has almost maintained its appearance from the Ottoman period. The town still possesses numerous mosques, houses and fountains dating back to the Ottoman period.

Great tour with great organizing and a fantastic tour guide

Planning our visit to Bosnia we quickly realized that most travel companies there organize the same trips in the same price range, so choosing between them was kind of random. However, after going to Jajce with Invicta, we have changed all of our plans to go with them again as soon as possible. First of all, Invicta office was really nice and flexible, answering to our emails at midnight as well. Secondly, what the company does not really advertise (no idea why) is that these tours are really low-number, or private tours. I have managed to go privately with my girlfriend to both this tour and the Mostar tour for the same price. Considering that other travel agencies go with big groups, this is a HUGE advantage. And lastly, our tour guide Edin was just the best. He is such a nice, interesting, funny and knowledgeable guy, I could have spent the whole week with him. Jajce is a really great place, definitely worth the visit! I think I liked Mostar a bit better, but still, definitely check

FANTASTIC private guide!

My husband and I went for the Medieval Bosnia Tour. It was a totally fantastic experience especially because we had an excellent private guide, Edin. He was the perfect ambassador to Bosnia as he unfolds the rich history of his country of birth. He was more than just a guide but more like a close friend. He went out of his way to give us more than expected. My husband and I believe that anyone can be easily obtain infirmation about the history of any country online, but the perspectives of the locals like Edin and his warm, friendly nature is what makes the trip meaningful and gives us a deeper insight of the country. We were very happy with his enthusiasm and passion in sharing with us about Bosnia, that we booked him again for a trip up the olympics mountain the following day! Best experience ever! Book your guide now, do not hesitate. Thank you Edin, for the wonderful experience. God bless. Ariyanti Sukaimi, Singapore Dec 2016
