The trip was amazing, all stops were worth it, it took a bit more than 10 hours but we enjoyed every bit of it. The driver Idze was very friendly and well educated about all the historical activities that we passed by. You shouldn’t miss this trip when you come to bosnia.

After more than three years of the war in Bosnia, on July 11, 1995, Srebrenica was attacked. Most importantly, it was a city in East Bosnia which the UN designated to be a protected area in the war. Finally, it became the stage of the worst crimes against humanity. Armed soldiers and paramilitary units killed more than 8,000 people in the following days. While there, you are going to see a huge graveyard where the victims are buried. The High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch established the memorial and the museum in 2001 as a part of the Foundation “Srebrenica-Potocari”. Today, the complex serves as a warning and a memory for all the victims of Srebrenica Genocide. US President, Bill Clinton officially opened the memorial in 2003. The starting point is usually in front of Info Bosnia Tourist Information Center located on main pedestrian street Ferhadija, just next to "Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures", but can be arranged from elsewhere, if requested. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Ravne Tunnels. Afterwards we explored the adjacent Archaeological Park. My Guide at Invicta Travel even organised a plane flight over the Valley of the Pyramids which was the icing on the cake for me. It was a wonderful adventure. Highly recommended.

Adi was my guide - he is excellent in all respects. The Bosnia Herzegovina history he narrated while en route to the railroad was superb. At all stops on he tour he always made the place interesting. The Sarkan Eight Railway is an engineering marvel. Well worth the tour. A great day.
