There were only two of us on our tour. Our guide, Davante, was fabulous. He was so knowledgeable about the geological forming of the island, vegetation, history of the Azores. We appreciated his good natured and friendly personality. He provided us with great food and pub suggestions at the end.

A really excellent way to familiarise yourself with this area of San Miguel (the west). Our driver, Joao, was friendly, knowledgeable, fun and kind, feeding us all the time with his knowledge of all the sites we visited.

Sergio was a wonderful guide. We met some great people and saw some amazing views even though the fog was in. But we had chances to see through the gap. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.

It was incredible. We got so much more that we bargained for. The best guide I've had. He knows so much--- And im here for it.
