The temple is sacred as a place of melukat, a ritual in which locals perform self-cleaning or ablution with holy water. It’s also a site where the Balinese request tirtha – the holy water used for Hindu ceremonies. These springs have been derived from natural sources since the 11th century, and the pools’ bathing waters are cool and clear. Before going in, receive guidance on how to act in the ritual, especially how to present the canang sari flower offering with incense. The bathing rite is said to be both a physically and spiritually rejuvenating yet meditative experience. After, travel to Tepi Sawah Villa. What people are saying about Sanur

Made picked us up at 8:30AM and we quickly made a plan for the day (we chose to visit Ubud). Made filled the day with so many activities; watching a traditional dance, visiting the silversmiths, batik shopping (and watching the process), visiting wood carvers, a waterfall (without too many tourists), a kopi plantation, met with painters, checked out the rice fields as well as some great eateries. Made also invited us to his own home where his family cooked us a beautiful meal, which was such an honour! After this we were invited to Made’s local temple and prayed with him and the other locals, while receiving a blessing during a ceremony. Made took every effort to make sure we were comfortable along our trip, checking in regularly but also ‘reading the room’ when we were a bit tired or hungry. Made is incredibly welcoming, great conversationalist but also relaxed (no pressure to keep talking for 11 hours), he planned the day perfectly to maximise our adventure!

Our guide jay, was great, friendly and very experienced. My partner and I felt very welcomed and had a really good time during this experience. He made our trip much enjoyable. 5 stars does not do him justice I would give home 10 if I could.

Great day, saw some really cool places and things! Rahdi was an excellent guide, he had great knowledge of the island and brought me to a few extra places that weren't on the itinerary! Couldn't recommend him more!

Jay was amazing! So knowledgeable - we didn’t really have a concrete plan and he helped us so much! Would 100% recommend Jay and the private tour! :)

Wonderful experience with great guides and organizers. Scenic landscapes and temple that must be viewed by anyone who travel in Bali.
