Full description

Sail from Athinios Port on a local caique, a boat traditionally made by master craftsmen in wood. Choose between two options to discover Santorini and its surroundings. Sunset Cruise with Volcano and Hot Springs

Depart in the afternoon with a stop at the volcano and the hot springs. Then, head to a beautiful spot for magnificent views of the sun setting over the horizon. With nothing blocking the magical view you will have a lasting memory of your holiday in Santorini and one of the most famous sunsets in the world. Includes dinner on board. Sunset Cruise with Hot Springs and Thirassia

Depart in the evening passing the old port of Thira and the volcano before dropping anchor by Thirassia Island. Enjoy a dinner served in Captain John's Taverna on the jetty, with complimentary white wine, soft drinks, and water.

Watch the hue of colors spreading across the width of the sky and reflecting upon the unique caldera of the island. Back on board, you can watch the sunset as it casts the sea and Santorini in a rainbow of colors. What's more, you'll also have the chance to swim in Santorini's famous hot springs too.

Fireworks Volcano Eruption/Ifestia Festival on the 18th of September

When the sun goes down, we will head to the volcano where we will wait for the festival to start from the most breathtaking spot. The fireworks will reach 90 miles in height, taking the place of magma and lava and creating a unique combination of light, sound, and color, turning the night into day. The reenactment of this monumental event serves as a commemoration of how easily everything can be changed by nature. The spectacular show is made by fireworks flying out of the volcano, making it a stunning view. The cruise starts at 5:30 PM; no dinner is included.

The experience was fantastic. However, I’ve marked as good due to being given the wrong leaving time. We dropped off early by taxi and told to get a coffee as trip was marked as 2pm, decided to go to the gate early and told we’d nearly missed the departure which was in fact 1.30pm. Crew were rude saying we’d nearly missed the trip. It was clearly marked as departing at 2pm. The overall experience was fantastic- slighted jaded by nearly missing the trip though.

You're a bit worried that you won't find the boat. When you have found it, you are relieved and happy when you finally sit on the boat. As soon as we set off we stand again. You can see the volcano and its sulfur fumes, of course at an additional cost. Fortunately, you can also stay on the boat. After about 1 hour we finally continue. After a short drive, it stops again. This time everyone can jump out of the boat and climb to swim. The water resembles a mass bathing event. When you come back up into the boat you are not allowed inside the boat because you are wet. We drive on, the whole thing repeats itself. There is a bar on the ship. In between you can buy something to drink. From now on it gets better and better. There is a delicious buffet and wine. The subsequent sunset is a dream. Finally, everyone dances Sirtaki.

It was very cool as a trip at sea on a super beautiful boat with a sunset at the top. Always complicated when you don't speak too much English to understand everything, yet the guide spoke French well but did not want to do the translation for a dozen French present in particular at the volcano, otherwise on the boat the nikel translation for each country present .
