Isabel and the village became part of the Casa das Rainhas until 1834, leaving the orders of D. Catarina to build an aqueduct and fountains. At the Sanctuary of Fatima, visit three places of interest. Choose to attend a mass at the Chapel of the Apparitions, the first Chapel built following the apparitions. It occupies a prominent place practically in the center of the Sanctuary. Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, built in 1928 in Neo-Baroque style. It houses the tomb of Sister Lucia who passed away in 2005. What people are saying about Santarém District

The tour was excellent, and our guide Pedro was awesome. We got picked up by a Mercedes minivan, very clean and comfortable. The ride to Fatima was pleasant. Once in Fatima we visited the shrine on the site of the apparition, and exhibition in the underground gallery, and both Basilicas. Our guide Pedro explained the whole story for us. Afterwards, Mr Pedro took us to a really good local restaurant for lunch (not included in the tour), far from any tourist trap. We then visited the houses of the three little shepherds in a village nearby, and the site of the apparition of the angel. Special kudos to Mr Pedro for being flexible and understanding. Our group was a bit delayed in the morning and he understood. He was also very patient and understanding with some of the elderly members of our group. He really made us feel welcome. Overall, excellent tour. Would recommend.

My family and I (2 kids 9 and 12) went on this private tour of Fátima and Sintra. Hermes was our driver and was a great guide to Fátima and Sintra. He was really accommodating throughout the tour and did an amazing job explaining Sintra's Palace of Pena. He also gave us time to explore Fátima and Sintra's restaurants ourselves which was nice. I really enjoyed this tour and would definitely do it again! Thanks, Hermes!

We had an excellent trip with Hermes! He was so nice and was really great and explained everything we saw with a lot of detail. He let us decide how much time we wanted at each monument or for breaks and eating making the day super customizable to what you preferred seeing. I would highly recommend this tour and honestly any tour with Hermes.

More than a guided tour, it's special attention, unfailing patience and above all the small details. Thank you Luisia it was worth it
