What people are saying about Santarém District

This shore excursion left later than usual due to our ship's late arrival. Much fuss had occurred between the broker "Get Your Guide" and the vendor "Inside Lisbon" about geting our full tour starting at 10:30AM. The two guide-drivers of our two vans of eight ( Joao and Joao) took responsibility to give us a full day despite warnngs from their dispatchers about being out later than expected in Lisbon. Our day started with Fatima with stop at a tourist store ( pre arranged "rest stop" ) .Luckily we arrived for the noon Mass in the Apparition chapel. Some of us received communion at Fatima! WE had an hour of free time which all 16 found adeqaute. This is a very large campus. Some made an effort to see all three chapels/basilicas. Some enjoyed the religious goods store behind the apparitions chapel for their shopping, leaving their money at the shrine and not the tourist store. The afternoon in Lisbon was fantastic, many treats and wonderful stops. No room in short review.

Louis was a wonderful guide!

We had a wonderful excursion with Louis. He was energetic, friendly, efficient, a great driver and very informative. Fatima was awesome and he gave us all the time we needed there. He also took us through Lisbon and treated us to a wonderful custard pastry! I would definitely recommend Get Your Guide and Louis!

The perfect way to see more of Portgual

Paulo was a wonderful guide. We altered our tour a bit and seen all the wonderful places outside of Lisbon. Our guide was well versed in his knowledge of the places we went and even went out of his way to help us find local items we were in search of. Obidos was by far my favorite little place in Portugal.

Great experience indeed. Our guide, Mr Rui was very courteous and knowledgeable. He adapted the tour to our needs and this was good as we were travelling with a toddler and baby. I totally recommend.
