We loved everything about this activity! Our guide, Freddy, was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He picked us up right at our hotel in San Jose and dropped us back off at the same place. We learned all about the process of making coffee as well as the history of coffee in Costa Rica. At Poas volcano we were able to see the full crater without any clouds in the way, which is rare. Lastly we went to Peace Lodge And walked around some of the nature exhibits (butterfly garden, frog garden, etc.) before hiking down to the waterfall. Along the way we also stopped for breakfast and lunch, both with amazing and authentic food!! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a day trip!

HIGHLY recommend! Yendry was our very knowledgeable, laid back, and personable guide and we wished we could take her with us on the rest of our Costa Rican adventures! She offered as many fun facts and information as questions we had. The walk was full of wildlife and a perfect length for our little kids.

This was a lovely experience for our free day in San Jose. Rigo was such an amazing guide, he went above and beyond to help us see sloths (even though it was very wet, he didn’t give up)!! He had so much knowledge and we saw lots of birds, squirrels, insects and finally sloths. Would recommend!

Our tour guide Ronnie was really knowledgeable and flexible. Great excursion if you want a day trip that covers a lot of ground . The volcano was the highlight for me! Thanks to Christian the driver who got us there and back safely and comfortably.

Awesome trip even during rainy season. Hot springs were a blast in the rain!
