Begin your tour in the heart of the Presidio, the Main Post. This leads up to the Golden Gate Bridge along a route which has been crafted to highlight the area’s art, history, and nature.
Visit three large-scale installations by world-renowned artist Andy Goldsworthy, learning about the Presidio’s 220 years as a military base. Following that, walk along peaceful eucalyptus and cypress-lined trails, as well as sandy cliffs with breathtaking views over the Pacific Ocean and the Golden Gate Bridge. Your tour later concludes at your meeting point of the Commissary Restaurant.
