Listen to the long-established, renowned boys choir sing in the basilica if you come between September and June. Admire the stunning landscape of the monastery's surroundings. Look out over mountains of various shapes and sizes that loom into view from the plateau where the monastery is situated. Queue to touch the statue of the Black Madonna, the patron saint of Catalonia who is said to bring you luck – or even a child. Visit the various museums in the area or make your way over to the market and peruse a selection of homemade products. Relax at one of the restaurants for something to eat or drink. In the afternoon, head back to Salou. Make a stop at the village of Roc de Sant Gaietà, a beautiful coastal town featuring a diverse array of architectural styles and a small beach. Admire the picturesque white houses lining the narrow streets and stop to rest in squares decorated with fountains and plants.
