Full description
Enjoy convenient transport from Salou directly to Poble Espanyol, a unique architectural museum that features 117 buildings modeled after traditional Spanish villages from different parts of the country. Marvel at an imaginative exhibition that was originally built for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition and today continues to offer a peek into Spanish culture, gastronomy, architecture, and traditions. Located in one of the most beautiful parts of they city, just a stone's throw from the famous Fountains of Montjuïc, Poble Espanyol is one of Barcelona's top sights. After checking out Poble Espanyol, get transported through the green and hilly Montjuïc area to the center of Barcelona and take advantage of free time for independent exploration. Stroll over La Rambla, Barcelona's most iconic street, and wander down one of the many narrow, winding streets leading off it or  head straight for Plaça de Catalunya and find the statue of Columbus pointing out to America. For local fare, visit the Boqueria, the famous covered marketplace on the Rambla. Or make your way to the Gothic Quarter, the oldest neighborhood in the city, where you can visit the Picasso Museum and the cathedral of Santa Eulalia. Admire the neighborhood's many examples of medieval architecture as well as the remains of the city wall from Roman times. Stop into one of the many bars, restaurants, and terraces for a bite or a drink.
