Explore the diverse landscapes of Lanzarote on a full-day bus tour of the island and compare the north and south. After paperwork and a briefing, you will have a chance to do a short test drive on the parking site at our base. When you get the hang of it and are confident, we will get started with the guided tour. First we head to the center of the island, crossing the volcanic landscapes filled with vineyards, plantations, and typical Canarian villages. Then, we reach the other side and the north shore in La Santa. The tour will take you along the road in Timanfaya where you will be surrounded by lava on your way to the beautiful Yaiza. Other highlights include the fisherman village of El Golfo, with its natural green lake; the old plantations of salt of Janubio; and the Golfo area, where most days you can see the green lake. There are some stops during the trip, to take photos and change drivers if required, which can change depending on the driving and your mood.

In Salinas de Janubio you can enjoy a 90-minute guided tour and discover the process of making sea salt from the cookers to the extraction in an artisanal and manual way, as it was made in the past. It is the only salt mine in Lanzarote and the Canary Islands with more than 127 years of uninterrupted activity, passing from generation to generation. A unique visit on foot, where you will enjoy its family history, the hydraulic layout, its mills for extracting water, its architecture and its landscape, ethnographic and environmental values.

Learn about the importance of lime and salt production in the island's economy and how these activities have influenced its economic development. From the meeting point we approach the old salt flats discovering their origins and how they work. Strolling along the seashore we learn about the natural heritage of the environment until we approach the area of the disappeared port of Janubio from where we arrive at one of the lime kilns in this area. It is here where we will enjoy the beauty of the area, with a panoramic view from above: the salt flats, the beach, the ocean, the volcanoes, the lagoon and the mills. All these elements fill this unique experience with magic.
