It was an amazing experience, shuttle from hotel to main coach was smooth and journey onwards through the desert and mountains toward St Catherine City went well with a stop mid way, although dark for us at this point still lots to see of the desert and mountains. Eventually you get to the first point where you can buy hats, coats, gloves etc it does get very cold on the mountain. When you get to the Monastery area there is security and then you are on your journey up the mountain. You can take a camel or walk to the bottom of the steps, we walked. There are frequent rest stops with hot drinks for sale, which the excellent bedouin guides stop at to allow the party to catch up. I didn't realise until coming back down that the majority of these have toilet facilities if you ask (at a cost of 5LE) the final leg of the steps is the most difficult, but still achievable by almost anyone with enough time to catch a breath. Amazing views and experience, I would 100% recommend to anyone!!

Well organised, very good communication throughout. Our guide Jamil was very attentive to all of his group, making sure everyone was ok. Although we didn't find the walk overly challenging, some people and younger children may find it difficult, very cold at the summit, recommend good warm clothing, definitely worth the trek for a spectacular sunrise, the short visit to the Monastery at the end was interesting.

Guides were great, I felt very safe. My Bedouin guide was amazing. The only thing that was down right horrible was hotel in St Catherine’s- but their food was good

We made this trip with guide Ali, and it was awesome. Ali is very knowledgeable and funny. The view from the top of the mountain is amazing.

Very special place, definitely do if you come to Sharm or Dahab!
