We were fortunate to have good weather so the trekking is smooth and not so muddy. Some parts of the journey were on concrete/stone roads so that’s less difficult. The guide was nice and speak English, though not grammatically correct but you can understand what she is saying. This journey brings you close up to see the beauty of the mountains and the fields. Recommend if you have the time.

It was a great hike! Our guide Su was very helpful, told us a lot about the local cultures and led us at a good pace. The lunch was very tasty and plenty. The local women and children who accompanied us were also sweet, not annoying at all, like some reviewers wrote. During lunch they were not even around and only at the very end they offered us they products, which I find normal considering that we stomp through their villages. All in all highly recommendable!

You should expect a morning thick fog if you plan to do this trek during the winter season. The ladies were friendly to help during the trekking and have a conversation with you. Exchange stories if you'd like to. Prepare an extra pair of good shoes, yours will probably be covered with thick mud. The village was lovely. I believe it's even more beautiful during other seasons. Prepare to be approached by the locals there selling their wonderful handcrafted items.
