My husband and I booked a private “Wine and food tour of Porto “ with Filipa as our guide. We tried the best PORTUGUESE specialties of Porto...nata and coffee, croquettes and chocolate mini pig, vino verde, cheese, salami, chorizo...and homemade breads with Port wine, pork sandwiches, quail and beer and we finished the tour with a Port tasting ... an awesome morning. All the restaurants and shops we visited were long established and very well know to the locals. Our guide Filipa was awesome, kind, nice, knowledgeable and spoke English very well. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR WITH FILIPA. Perfect way to start our stay in Porto.
My wife and I were the only people on the tour which meant that we had the full attention of our tour guide, Andreia. It was a very enjoyable 3 hour tour visiting cafes specialising in Portugese food, port wine and beer. I could not recommend the tour enough and Andreia was very knowledgable and informative about the food, drink and the history of Porto. She was also helpful with recommendations of local restaurants and places of interest to visit on our trip. Thank you Andreia. Tip - Don't eat much before the start of the tour as there is plenty of food on offer.
Thus was my third time on this tour, stille excellent, bur unfortunately the final lunch in Ribeira was cut out of the tour, because the typical restaurant didn't excist anymore. Now it was like a drinking tour in the morning. But still you visit great places you would never go to and our guide Isabel from Blue Dragon Tours was outstanding, very good. I would recommend this great tour to everyone, a must-do when in Porto.
Diana was a wonderful tour guide! We really enjoyed all the food, and found we had just enough time at each venue. The drinks provided in each venue also complemented each dish well, and the port tasting at the end was the perfect way to end things. The walking isnt too intense so although we booked it as a young couple it would be suitable for families or older people too.
Gostei do tour, mas pensei que fossemos entrar na livraria Lello. Sei das dificuldades, por causa da fila, mas constava a entrada no roteiro. Além disso, achei o passeio na vinícola um pouco corrido. No restante foi tudo muito bom. Adorei a guia Cláudia. Culta, simpática, atenciosa e apesar de não precisar, percebi que ela tem um inglês perfeito.
