    Explore the Artic wilderness on this guided snowmobile tour from Rovaniemi. Keep warm with the provided winter clothing. Visit an authentic reindeer farm and experience the thrill of reindeer sledding. 

    Begin the day's adventure with hotel pickup in Rovaniemi and relax as you take in the views on the drive. Put on the cozy winter gear at the snowmobile base camp and listen as your guide demonstrates how to correctly handle the snowmobiles. Cruise along through the snowy terrain, led by your guide the entire way. Arrive at the reindeer farm, where local herders will share insights on the herding lifestyle and what it is like to be a reindeer herder in the 21st century. Listen to a short briefing from the herders and then drive your own reindeer sledge on a 1,640-foot-long ride. Your newly obtained skills will be rewarded with a reindeer-sledge driver's license, which you can take home as a fun souvenir.

    Warm up at the farm with some toasty and comforting refreshments before returning to your accommodation in Rovaniemi.

    •  In order to drive a snowmobile, one must have a valid driver's license for a regular, passenger car
    •  Please note that the only Chinese driver's licenses accepted in Finland are from Hong Kong and Macao
    •  2 adults share 1 snowmobile. If the number of people in the group is an odd number, someone in the group will have to share a snowmobile with another member of the activity. Single driving is available as supplement for adults
    •  Pickup is provided about 1 hour prior to departure from Rovaniemi city center and within a radius of 9 miles. Your exact pickup time will be sent by email the day before
    •  Children under 14 years will be seated on a sled pulled by the guide's snowmobile
    • Missing the meeting time and point will result in a missed safari which will not be refunded

    snowmobile goes max 40kmph and we were unfortunately behind a lady who was going safe and slow, so much so that our hands hurt from pressing and releasing the throttle in low speed. the route is also very bumpy. scenic nonetheless. reindeer farm was intriguing and we had to queue to take turns on a short circuit on the sleigh

    We arrived at 9am and our guide Mika was very nice and helpful. He supplied us all with warm clothes for the trip. The trip was amazing we enjoyed stopping for pictures and a snowball fight. He was very friendly and gave lots of information about Lapland and the reindeer’s . Highly recommended:-)

    The overall experience was very good, and the tour guide was very friendly and helpful. The pick up location was from the hotel in Rovaniemi but after the tour you had to return to the city by your own(they left you at the santa-claus village). The ride with the reindeer was fun but way too short and the snowmobile ride was good enough (approx 30min) I recommend this tour because you combine both activities but if you want to have a better reindeer experience or better snowmobile experience you have to take them separately.
