    Immerse yourself in truly authentic Lappish culture with the country’s magical, gentle reindeer. Experience the tranquillity of the local forests as you travel along the glittering snowy trail on a sleigh pulled by a reindeer. After being picked up from your hotel, you will meet the local reindeer herders and familiarize yourself with their culture and everyday life. Take the opportunity to feed the reindeer and take pictures with them.

    Then, depart the farm in a storybook wooden sled, wrapped up in warm blankets, for a short journey with the reindeer into the forest. To show all your friends back home, you’ll receive a certified reindeer sleigh driving license. After returning from your mystical ride, cuddle up in the cozy traditional Lappish hut while listening to the farmer as they share stories of the local history and culture. Taste some steaming beverages and snacks, the all-time favorite for locals to warm up in the wintertime.

      We expected a farm with the reindeers walking freely and it was not. There were reindeers tied to a tree so visitors could take photos. Although our guide guided us, the tied reindeers were not looked after by anyone and there were visitors who were irresponsible and disgusting with the animals. The person who did the previous explation to the sleigh ride was good and the one who told us curiosities about the animals was excellent.

      Reindeer’s Farm It was really fun, we have been a nice international group with passioned guides from Finland and Greece. Got a lot of information about the reindeers and made our reindeer driving license with Günter-the fastest racedeer:-). Ended with a trational fire in a lapin Kota with blueberry tea and warm cookies . I will miss the reindeers

      Overall, the Reindeer Farm Visit with Sleigh Ride Tour was really good. The guide was informative and the reindeer farm experience was great to see. The actual sleigh ride was only 400 metres though, so a slight disappointment there as it would have been nice for the ride to go longer.
