Full description

The captain welcomes you on board for an extended cruise through the ports where cargo giants, ferries, cruise ships, and tugboats are home. Experience the activity on the Maas and see the modern architecture from the other side. The best way to discover Rotterdam. Along the way see the Erasmus Bridge, Veerhaven, Parkhaven, Euromast, Schiedam, Waalhaven, the former R(otterdam) D(roogdok) M(aatschappij), Eemhaven, ss Rotterdam, and the old hotel New York.

During the tour, the audiovisual guide provides information about all the sights in Dutch, English, and German. The Dutch explanation is especially in the Rotterdam dialect, so you also learn the words of Rotterdam. Find a place inside the cozy salon or sit on the sun deck. Unfortunately, it was not evident when booking that you can get on board 30 minutes in advance. We therefore had seats in the stern below (outdoors). Unfortunately we were not served there - despite cards on the table. A trilingual tape will be played on the tour, all explanations first in Dutch, then English and then German. For us, the English was easier to understand, not least because it was a bit louder and the voice of the German speaker was difficult to hear. Lots of interesting information, in between a bit lengthy, the port is just very big :-) Always recommended in good weather ...

Nice cruise. It was a bit on the fresh side despite being inside. The door to the deck was probably open for ventilation. It was good that we had a jacket with us. There was a nice talk about what could be seen in 3 languages. The menu was sufficient and served quickly. The disadvantage that you can only pay in cash.

It was a great trip. There were some issues. Nowhere on the ticket and emails was the name of the ship mentioned. We went to find out in advance and struggled to find the right place. Your ship was there, but we did not know if it was going to be ours or not.
