Full description

Once you arrive at the agency, you will start the tour right away. You will participate in Pope Francis' audience which takes place every Wednesday either in St. Peter's Square or Nervi Hall, inside the Vatican State.

You will then venture through the walls of the smallest sovereign state in the world, your guide will explain to you the history of the magnificent St. Peter's Square and the reason why it is so important for catholic people all over the world.

With your skip-the-line tickets, the guide will take you directly inside the Vatican Museums, a place enriched by rare and unique treasures. You will be able to see the masterpieces of famous Renaissance artists such as Raphael, Leonardo, Botticelli, and Michelangelo.

The marvelous Renaissance paintings and frescoes are not the only works you'll see, your guide will lead you to the Pigna's gardens and the octagonal courtyards, where you will admire the stunning ancient Roman sculpture of the Laocoon.

At the end of the tour, you will enter the well-known Sistine Chapel, hold on tight — the extreme beauty of the celestial is something very unique and special. Pope Giulio II gave carte blanche to Michelangelo who developed this original and colossal fresco work.

At the very end, you can choose either to spend more time in the Museums or to exit along with your guide.

Loved our tour , albeit an early start but fortunately our hotel was nearby. We were given tickets to attend the papal audience which was fantastic and then after it had finished to meet our tour guide Dina for the Vatican museum tour and Sistine Chapel. Dina was very informative and certainly knew her stuff. She left us at St Peters Bascillica with clear instructions .....that place was amazing .....beautiful.

the papal address was canceled and the guide got in contact with us and moved us to a different time that day for the remaining tour of vatican and sistene chapel. It was very crowded as it was a national holiday that day but our guide did a great job keeping us together and explaining the various works of art in both.
