Full description
Accompanied by a local chef, learn how to make fresh pasta by hand and follow a traditional Italian meatball recipe which has been passed down through generations. Meet your chef in a cozy little restaurant in Trastevere, where you will be joined by a small group of fellow aspiring pasta chefs.  Spend 1.5 hours learning how to make ravioli and meatballs from fresh ingredients. There is a single station for each participant, along with a work plan, apron, and rolling pin. Watch as the expert chef teaches you the theory and practice of working the dough into pasta. After you’ve prepared your dish, sit down to savor the fruits of your labor, washed down with a glass of red or white wine and limoncello. Then walk off the meal with a stroll around central Rome. Awesome fun!

Making meatballs and pasta from scratch was the best fun. Vincenzo was excellent to guide us in the pasta making process. Not sure why Caterina came in specially to show us how to make the meatballs, but I'm sure he could've done both. Either way, it was a great way to spend a few hours - yummy food, glass of wine, and all finished off with a limoncello. Bellissimo!

Hands down the best cooking class. We got lucky and were the only two people in the class. We made amazing meatballs, ravioli, and fettuccine. The chef makes fantastic sauces and everyone was so friendly!
