Full description
This tour of the city center will give you the opportunity to discover Rome from artistic, historical, and legendary points of view. You'll stroll from the Spanish Steps to Navona Square, jumping forward and backward in time from the Roman Empire to modern times. Start from the Spanish Steps, where you will learn about the name of this area of the city before advancing onward to Trevi Fountain. Following that, continue your stroll through the amazing roads of Rome and get to St. Ignatius Church, which is famous for its 3D-effect ceiling created in the 17th century. You'll then visit the Pantheon, the best preserved building of Ancient Rome where Raphael requested to be buried. Your tour continues with the Church of St. Luigi dei Francesi, where you will learn about one of the most famous artists of the Italian Art history: Caravaggio. Finally, end your tour in Piazza Navona, the symbol of the Baroque Style in Rome. This was a place created by some of the greatest minds of the 17th century: Bernini and Borromini.
