The visit was good but sometimes it was difficult for us to understand the guide, since he had a very strong Italian accent. It was a very rainy day but we still visited the Colosseum arena. The part of the forum and the Palatine Hill were explained to us practically from the entrance, pointing out various prominent places from afar, but the guide did not accompany us more than that and we visited it on our own.

Very good tour and gave an excellent background and history to the colosseum. Understanding of the history and types of events that were held was enlightening and enhanced the whole experience. Walking out on the ground level was a must to experience the feeling of walking onto a massive stadium

We had Maria as a guide. She’s English was great, she was very factual. Only downside to tour was it was hard to find the meeting point as they didn’t advertise ‘get your guide’ company on their banner. Then the guide started in the colloseum which once you left you couldn’t re-enter so it would be better to finish in here so that you could stay and actually look at all the facts as there were lots missed as the guide rushes you through.
