Direct bus transfer from Piazza Repubblica in Rome to Pompeii, price 77 €. The bus has good legroom and air conditioning. A few charging slots for mobile phones. The only minus an hour late departure from Pompeii back to Rome was when the company was waiting for customers on a different trip on the same trip.

Alessandro did a great job of managing all of the logistics keeping the tour on time and operating smoothly. His language skills were both impressive and appreciated creating the ability to speak in our family’s first language to help us understand the tour process and plan. This is a perfect day trip from Rome to get to see Pompeii. We could’ve done without the Naples stop but overall it was a good time and we are glad we got to go with Alessandro.

Would have given this tour 5 stars if we had gone straight to Pompeii, but we stopped in Napoli which was pointless. We got stuck in a massive traffic game, frogmarched through a shopping centre to a square. Said we had 20 minute's to look around, then another mad dash back to the bus, and stuck in traffic. We would have rather spent those extra hours in Pompeii as it's so big, definitely feel we didn't get enough time to see everything.
