Full description
When the sun sets in Rome, another side of the city comes to life. It is an older and more mysterious Rome, where facts and legends are intertwined to stimulate the imagination as much as the eye. This 90-minute evening tour is the tour to take if you want to discover that Rome, known only to a select few! Your guide will bring the Eternal City’s most enthralling historical and supernatural mysteries to life in a highly entertaining and informative tour. You will stroll along winding lanes in the city's historic center, and hear ghostly tales that form part of Rome’s lesser-known history. Departing from Sant' Andrea Della Valle Church, walk in the shadow of sights such as the Campo de Fiori, where public executions used to take place. Walk down the Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, and through the Piazza Farnese, dominated by fountains formed out of granite stone basins. See the Castel Sant’ Angelo, site of the Mausoleum of Hadrian, and walk down the Via Giulia, one of the first planning projects in Renaissance Rome.

Great stories, great guide! A must-do for anyone!

Our guide Amanda told the stories in an entertaining and interesting way. This tour is for you if you are looking for something different, something beside the "typical" Colloseum or Vatican tours. Another bonus is that it's at night so the temperatures are really nice (in June) and the streets and Piazzas are not crowded anymore.

actually a compulsory event !!!

- The meeting point and time of the tour were perfect. - The individual information / stories about Rome were always told at the scene - you got information that you won't find in any travel guide - it was a small group - so you could understand everything without problems - the guide was always happy to answer individual questions - has completed our Rome trip / was one of our highlights. If you don't do this tour, it's your own fault ;-)

Roberto!! You were a-ma-zing! You were genuine, kind, funny and a great storyteller. The stories were frightening, exciting and powerful, they tapped into recent social struggles but kept their eery edge. We took other tours, but nothing ever matched up to yours. Your enthusiasm stayed with us throughout our whole trip. Never have we ever experienced such an accessible tour, you took frequent stops and checked if everyone was still doing okay, while offering places to rest our feet. The combination of your charming personality, great skill and content made it impossible for us to enjoy other tours. Job well done.. We wish you the very best!
