Full description
Enjoy a visit to the heart of ancient Rome, among its temples, meeting places, and triumphal arches that evoke images of senators, soldiers, emperors, and orators. Your expert guide will take you from the Colosseum to the Roman Forum and to the Palatine Hill, where you’ll see the Palace of the Emperors. This private guided 3-hour tour is priced for a group of up to 6 participants, and begins at the Colosseum, built by the Emperors of the Flavian Dynasty, and a site that over the centuries has become the symbol of Rome. Moving on, you’ll visit the site of the Forum, the area that witnessed the birth and development of Roman civilization. This was the political, social, religious, and economic heart of the Roman Republic. Some of the most ancient places of worship can be found at the Forum site, and it’s still possible to glimpse the remains of venerable temples. Following your visit to the Roman Forum area, you’ll continue on to the Palatine Hill, where the emperors of Rome lived.

it's the best! It's expensive, but I'm really glad I made a reservation!

I went in mid-August. 10:00 Hotel meeting, 10:30 Colosseum entrance, 13:00 dissolution. First of all, if there is no skip ticket, there will be a long line. I don't have the energy to line up in the hot weather ... Another Japanese group who was unusually lined up later said that they went and lined up one hour before the opening and still lined up for 30-60 minutes from the venue time. The line without reservation does not always advance, and the reserved customers only enter after a certain abnormal progress, so there were people waiting for admission even at the beginning. Thanks to the skip ticket, I was able to put it in immediately and make effective use of my time. Also, apart from other Roman facilities, the Colosseum would just take a picture and end without a guide. Thanks to the guide, you can efficiently visit the highlights, enter the Arc de Triomphe, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and explain everything firmly, and since you are an individual group guide, take a break if

Fantastic experience, with great, detailed descriptions of the forum and colosseum

December 19, 2021

We booked as a family, ages 7 - 42 years. The tour guide was friendly and personable, but didn't speak German well enough to briefly describe the explanations. This made the tour lengthy and not particularly informative. In addition, she never gave us the opportunity to pause for a moment and get our own impression. After 2.5 hours we were all so exhausted that we just wanted to get out. I would only book tours with an audio guide for such a long time in order to be flexible. And: if you are traveling with children and book a guide, you should definitely take food with you. Unfortunately, ours was not even ready to shorten the tour after repeatedly pointing out that children were exhausted & hungry. The only positive thing: the entrance organized by the guide went well. However, that does not justify the extremely high price. I cannot advise booking a guide.
